Evolution Launches the World’s First Live Online Craps Game
Exciting news for iGaming enthusiasts! Leading software developer Evolution has just launched the world’s first live dealer craps game. And according to management, this new addition offers all the thrills of playing at a traditional casino.
To make things even easier for beginners, Evolution has included an Easy Mode and an interactive tutorial to guide players through the game. And in the coming weeks, they plan to release a Random Number Generator version of craps as well.
Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter explains, “Craps has been highly requested by both players and casinos for years now, so it was time to make it happen. With this launch, we now have every game that players would expect to find at a brick and mortar casino.”
“Developing an online version of this popular game was no easy feat,” Haushalter continues. “But our team has done an incredible job, and we are thrilled with the final product. We believe that live craps will attract a whole new audience from around the world and help us expand into new markets beyond Europe.”
What Are Players Saying?
While it’s still early days, initial feedback from players has been overwhelmingly positive. The attention to detail in recreating the live craps experience is impressive – including using a mechanized arm to roll the dice for fairness and eliminating the possibility of blaming the dealer if things don’t go as planned.
Merger with NetEnt
Aside from this exciting launch, Evolution has also announced its plans to acquire NetEnt for $2.1 Billion. This seems like the perfect time for a merger, as both companies have been performing exceptionally well in their respective markets. During Q3 of 2020, Evolution generated over 140 million Euros in revenue, while NetEnt’s profits increased by 58% compared to last year.
In addition to their success with live craps, Evolution has recently launched five new tables in Pennsylvania and opened a studio in Kaunsa, Lithuania. They are also seeing great results with popular games like Crazy Time and Instant Roulette.
Meanwhile, NetEnt has been focused on expanding its presence in the US market this year through partnerships with top operators such as William Hill US, BetMGM, DraftKings, Scientific Games, and Tipico.
